SFMTA Shares Photos of Stabbing Suspect From 5-Fulton Bus Incident — San Francisco Sports news

The SFMTA put out a safety information flyer for bus operators showing surveillance camera footage of the man suspected of stabbing another man early Monday onboard a 5-Fulton Owl bus.San Francisco's transit agency put out a flyer with photos of the suspect in a Monday stabbing and further details about the incident, flagging it as "for internal agency use only," but naturally it made its way quickly to Reddit. As reported on Monday, the stabbing took place on a 5-Fulton bus around 1:10 am Monday near the intersection of McAllister and Laguna streets. One victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and the suspect fled the scene and remains at large. The flyer, seen below, explains that the suspect "got into an argument with Victim #1 seated across from him," and the first victim was on the bus with at least two other friends. The suspect then allegedly "lunged at Victim #1 and began punching him," at which point, "Victim #2 jumped in and began fighting with the suspect." Another passenger stepped in between them to try to de-escalate the fight. The two victims and a female friend then stepped off the bus, but according to the flyer, "Victim #2 reentered the coach and charged the suspect." Another fight ensued and the suspect allegedly pulled a knife from his pocket and stabbed the victim multiple times. The suspect then reportedly fled the bus and ran westward on McAllister.Bus operators and the general public are advised to call 911 if they recognize the suspect or see him out in public, and should not approach him.You can also call the SFPD tip line at 415-575-4444, or text a tip to TIP411 and begin the message with “SFPD.” Tipsters can remain anonymous. The associated SFPD case number is 260631435.
