Weird Website Lets You 'Sit' at Elizabeth's Holmes's Desk at Theranos, Read Her Emails

A strange new website has appeared, coinciding with the release of the Elizabeth Holmes documentary You Can See Everything, that lets you interact with a simulation of what Holmes s desk at Theranos might have looked like back in 2016.Engineer Bo Lau created the website, dubbed Theranos World, which features an interactive interface where you can click around Elizabeth Holmes s laptop and iPhone, read her emails and texts the contents of which all come from actual emails and texts that were submitted as evidence in her and Sunny Balwani s fraud trials. In one somewhat out-of-context text about changing his travel plans from Bombay, Balwani writes, This doesn t serve the soul of the universe. i built a website where you can sit at elizabeth holmes desk open her macbook, scroll her iphone, run the theranos edison machine her texts, emails, slides, documents, and theranos machine records are real, sourced from exhibits in the united states v. holmes criminal trial https://t.co/5At9
