Two people died after being rescued from a house fire in Santa Clara County. The two-alarm fire occurred early Wednesday in Monte Sereno, at a two-story home on the 17000 block of Rose Court, and the Santa Clara County Fire Department is using the incident to remind everyone to maintain working smoke alarms in every room.
