I-80 weekend closure causes major Bay Bridge backups, delays into San Francisco
A full weekend closure of westbound Interstate 80 in San Francisco caused major traffic delays Saturday, with some drivers reporting trips of nearly 90 minutes from Oakland into the city. Caltrans crews are repairing the aging freeway deck, with the roadway scheduled to reopen Monday at 6 a.m.
