Continuing an offseason that s seen the team keep many familiar faces in the fold, the Golden State Warriors and starting guard Brandin Podziemski have agreed on a five-year extension worth $110 million. The deal follows a team-friendly extension inked with superstar guard Stephen Curry last month.As ESPN reports, the 23-year-old Podziemski will now enter his fourth season playing for the Golden State Warriors with a new extension in place. Beyond ensuring the 19th overall pick in the 2023 draft won t hit restricted free agency next summer, the deal retains a sizable amount of cap space for the Warriors to use in the possible pursuit of a marquee free agent next offseason. Details on the extension include a mutual team/player opt-in for the final year.
